William Henry Berry

William Henry Berry was born in the United States in 1823. By time of the 1871 census, he was living in Stirling, Ontario, where he ran a business as a barber on the south side of Mill Street in Stirling, close to the location of the covered bridge.

Berry regularly advertised his services in the Stirling News Argus newspaper.  He continued to live and work in Stirling until his death on 21 December 1895. William Berry was buried in the Stirling Cemetery.
