Reading Room with social distancing measures in place.

The Community Archives reopened to the public and to volunteers on August 10th. To help ensure the safety of everyone, the following arrangements are in place: 

  • Opening hours: Monday to Thursday 11.00am-1.00pm, 2.00-4.00pm
  • A maximum of two visitors can be accommodated in the public part of the reading room at one time
  • A maximum of four volunteers can work in the archives at one time
  • Reference materials will be quarantined after use for three days
  • Face coverings must be worn in public areas of the Belleville Public Library and the Community Archives

Appointments are not mandatory, but you can reserve your place in advance by calling 613-967-3304.
